9-28-21 THOUGHTS  

Consider how precious it is that GOD HAS SPOKEN and that we have HIS WORDS.  By those words, we hear and are saved.  We learn THE  ABUNDANT LIFE, we learn LOVE.  We become able to live life in harmony with the DESIGN OF OUR CREATOR!
Ps 19:7-9    The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.  8  The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.  9  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether.
Ps 119:2    How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all [their] heart.
Jer 29:13  ‘You will seek Me and find [Me] when you search for Me with all your heart.
John  14:23   Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
Rom 10:17    So faith [comes] from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Luke 8:11   "Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.
1Pet 1:23    for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, [that is,] through the living and enduring word of God.
Heb 4:12    For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Rom 1:16   For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
1Cor 1:18    For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1Cor 15:1-4   Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2  by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3  For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4  and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
1Pet 2:2    Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
Hos 6:3   "So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth."
Job 23:12   "I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.

My Prayer:
We praise your great name O God.  Thank you for revealing yourself to us through your living abiding word.  May we prove our love for your word by having it written on our hearts.
